Climate Risk for Investors is a practical, two-hour course designed to help investment professionals across functions understand and act on the financial implications of climate change. As climate-related risks reshape markets and regulations tighten, investors need to build foundational knowledge to protect portfolios, meet stakeholder expectations, and navigate growing complexity.
Learners will explore the material impacts of physical risks—such as extreme weather—and transition risks driven by policy, technology, and market shifts. The course also introduces key regulatory developments and climate disclosure frameworks now influencing investment practices globally.
Through real-world case studies, expert insights, and scenario-based learning, learners will gain practical tools to assess climate-related risks and opportunities, support climate-aware investment strategies, and strengthen governance and engagement approaches.
Upon completing the course and passing the assessment, learners receive an industry-recognised certificate of completion from the PRI Academy, along with a digital badge to showcase their achievement.
